Right, not asking critical questions explains why Bush and Cheney both called for a limited investigation into 9-11.

Which explains why almost no U.S. reporters are even asking about reports that Taliban officials met with Unocal officials a while back, which explains why oil reserves in the Caspian Sea and U.S. military bases being set up all over Central Asia that trace the proposed oil pipeline route is not getting talked about at all, which explains why nobody's been arrested for the anthrax scare, which explains why 4 airplanes were hijacked simultaneously and nobody was sent to do anything, which explains why we still don't know anything about the put options placed on airline stocks days before 9-11, which explains those Israelis arrested after 9-11, which explains how other intelligence agencies, as reported elsewhere, had advance warning of SOME impending attack on the U.S. who apparently ignored these warnings, which explains the billions of money the Pentagon can't account for, as explained in the mainstream press, which explains nothing.

This mental midget's column [Kathleen Parker of the Orlando Sentinel] is full of stereotypical attacks that don't do anything to answer legitimate questions intelligent people all over the world are asking. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, and there are plenty of unanswered questions regarding the events of 9-11 that mainstream U.S. journalists are simply NOT ASKING.

It's got nothing to do with some "cabal" Parker assumes we assume exists. It's got to do with the fact that she is getting paid to write that drivel, while those who would question Bush's admininstration or the CIA would get fired from their jobs or simply not have them to begin with. See Herman and Chomsky's propaganda model.

Institutional is institutional. It's too bad Parker is too much of a nitwit to grasp this. How can you respect a column from someone is too cowardly or blindly patriotic to not even ask obvious questions that deserve to be answered.

Oh, You’re So Smart, Can I Be Like You?
